The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering came into existence right at the inception of SMVEC in 1999. The primary objective of the department is to impart Electrical Engineering as a Professional and need-based and also continuing education and training programmes in frontier areas of Electrical Engineering therefore simultaneously providing consultancy and technical services to the industry. The Department is considered as a unique centre for promotion of excellence in Electrical Engineering and has been successfully fulfilling this role in today’s fast changing technological world around us.
The faculty members of the Department are regularly contributing Research papers to International and National Conferences.
